OUR
PHILOSOPHY
Safety for our customers results from the combination of communication, planning, rigging and material all under one roof. This is why many of our customers trust us to provide a full rigging service for their events.
COMMUNICATION
We speak on your behalf with venues, engineers, production and department heads, suppliers, providers and local authorities. You are fully integrated into the communication process and will stay up to date every step of the way without having to actively participate. You can, of course, step in at any time as needed.
PLANNING
FEASIBILITY
In the preliminary stages we check if your production fits in your planned venue. We develop alternative suggestions and solve technical problems.
CAD-PLANNING
We produce rigging plans or lay your plans into the requested venue. We adapt your production to best fit the specific situations of each structure thereby reducing overall complexity and cost. Proposed changes are clearly communicated to all parties.
LOAD PLANNING
We supply detailed load distribution plans on the basis of the CAD planning for approval by the venue. Upon request we can also deliver structural analysis for pre-rig and trussing systems.
EQUIPMENT PLANNING
We provide suggestions for the optimal system and calculate the exact equipment requirements. We compare the required amounts with your available material and can add from our resources if needed.
RIGGING
RIGGING WORK
All rigging work is carried out according to the most current standards and in line with all legal requirements. Work processes are planned together with other departments to guarantee a frictionless work flow.
WHO IS RIGGING
All rigging is carried out by our employees and certified, qualified contractors. We hold regular staff briefings to ensure quality control. Upon completion, all rigging points are checked by the supervising rigger.
QUALIFICATION
We are a recognized igvw training center. We are licensed to certify our own personnel under the SQQ2 Entertainment Rigging Qualification standard.
SUPPORT
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
We carry a range of chain hoists in D8, D8+ and C1 for automated movements as well as the necessary cabling, controlling and attachment material. Our C1 system meets the requirements for SIL3 and utilizes Movecat Variolifts. Our Super Users will happily program and operate your desired scenic movements. Additionally we also offer trussing in a variety of sizes. A list of all our equipment can be found here
CERTIFIED SPECIALISTS
Our certified Bachelor Professional (CCI) of Event Technology Management and Operations help with the planning and safe implementation of your event.
CAPACITY AND EMERGENCY EXIT CALCULATION
We calculate the maximum allowable capacity according to German regulations and produce seating and emergency evacuation plans.
ENGINEERING
We develop custom designed components for specific technical solutions and carry out the required type inspections.
LOAD MEASUREMENT
In cases where the structural loading capacity is low and/or the production loads are high it is necessary to verify the actual loads and weight distribution. We offer wireless 4,75t load cells from BroadWeigh.
INSPECTION
We can carry out the required yearly inspection of your lifting and rigging equipment for you. We also offer a certified expert examination for motors which is required every four years. Upon being passed, each motor receives its own updated examination label and an inspection protocol is provided for your records. Every motor can optionally get a QR code, which is linked to the online inspection document.

Our History
Markus has worked in the industry since 1987, Toby since 1998. We have worked together since 2007. Our co-operation intensified to the point that we decided in September 2015 to join forces.
The Rigging Factory Munich GbR was formed – “Rigging productions from the assembly line”. In December 2016 the Rigging Factory Munich GmbH was also founded, which now processes all productions.
The Rigging Factory Munich GbR continues to exist, holding our Rental Equipment and serving our Dry Hire customers. Today we support concerts for all the top Munich promotors and support production and rental companies locally and globally.
